Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 30 - 45 minutes


Ingredients:

- Elbow Macaroni (2)

- 1 1/2 cup milk

- 1 cup mild cheddar (shredded)

- 1 cup fiesta blend cheese (shredded)

- 2 eggs

- salt and pepper to taste

- Paprika

- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream



Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F

  2. Cook the elbow macaroni and drain

  3. In a large mixing bowl add milk, heavy cream, salt and pepper (to taste) and stir

  4. Once you have tasted and like it, add your whisked eggs, stir til completely mixed

  5. Butter a baking dish (can use the spray olive oil)

  6. Add macaroni to the dish

  7. Pour mixture over macaroni, distribute it well

  8. Top with shredded cheese & sprinkle a light layer of paprika on top of dish

  9. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes

  10. Turn the oven to broil (this adds the browning at the top) on LOW for 1-2 minutes (CAREFULLY watch or you can burn your macaroni and cheese)

  11. Remove from oven and let cool

  12. Serve


DOUBLE THE INGREDIENTS IF MAKING MORE THAN ONE PAN
